@Rowena I attempted to sign up but it requested that I entered the miles I walked, but it doesn't give a starting date from when to log my mileage. Please tell me a starting date, as I can go back 4 years of daily mileages!

This is an interesting idea as I reckon people who engage in our hobby are generally more active than most? Not sure I am in a position to contribute at the moment but will watch with interest.

Can I nominate @nelliethehooker to do mine?😂

Not quite that far @Bakers2 but I try to do at least 20k steps a day, but it does depend how much it Is raining, like today. However I am averaging a little over 9 mls a day for the last 4 yrs.😎

Hi @nelliethehooker that's brilliant! It started from 14th October so it might be good to upload weekly. Definitely before the 30th November to be in with a chance of winning the walking boots from Mountain Warehouse. 🤗

Thanks @Rowena I will sign up and do a weekly log. I might just be in with a chance of winning those boots, one can never have too many pairs of good waterproof walking boots!!

Thanks for the remainder @Rowena I have just updated my distance.
It is a shame that posts such as this cannot be made a "sticky" as we had with the previous version of CT!

Trying to talk my OH to sign up. If he could log bicycle miles he would breeze it🤣
Nellie, I too am nominating you to do my walking miles.🤣
Although………….. I think I have done around 15 miles already this week, and we are going out shortly😁

Coo, just checked my Strava. 15 miles is a bit of bad guess, done a good bit more, so we will submit our mileage. Doubt I will get close to folks like Nellie or Corners, but my OH doesn’t half get the miles in. Can I count carrying a bag of foraged wood as extra please?🤭

My distances are very weather depended, and as we have had so much rain this month, and the last one too, I am well down on my hoped for totals, although I will have managed over 10 mls for each of the last day 3 days before bedtime tonight. It doesn't help that Flyte is now rather old so isn't as fast as he used to be, as I am restricted to his pace when I take him out for his walks. I am sure @Cornersteady will be doing a good few more than that during his trip away.
@Takethedogalong it is a shame that there isn't a conversion factor for miles cycled against those walked as I am sure your OH would be well ahead of all of us.
