Warranty on new Motorhomes

Hello just to warn fellow members that after the last two years dealing with the biggest dealer in the UK based in Newark over warranty issues with our Swift Voyager 954 bought in 2023 at a cost of £70000 that as soon as you have paid the dealer and travel outside the UK you are on your own as they claim that if a swift dealer does not fix your vehicle the warranty is void but they will not come to you anyhow, we had to change a bathroom tap in Spain early this year and we gave them a receipt which took them ten weeks to sort and then claimed frost damage, with the climate in Spain even in winter no frosts and i also asked then do they wrap up all there stock vans in there compound in UK over winter which they could not answer, after much more debate i was told all the dealers of various manufactures are all the same, i was lost and said that we had now no more confidence with buying a new Model, i decided to cut all ties with this manufacturer and dealer and that is why i have written this post as i wish now that someone had warned us of the road ahead as very disappointed with the way we have been treated and of coarse a famous quote for you all ( have you read the small print sir).

Yours sincerely Mr T Riches (Norfolk)

I think it is the sign off the times our Swift main dealer previously been A1, all of a sudden they have gone downhill, they serviced our caravan in August this year at £380, they had missed out most of the chassis service, they failed to noticed a gas cooker had a serious fault, plus 2 faults with the caravans electrics, the damp test as per the report visual test ?

We contacted the dealer who just side steped our concerns but offered 20% of the next service, however they keep inviting us to open days to buy a new caravan, they can stick that were the sun don't shine.

Mr T. Riches, any future warranty work on your motorhome is the responsibility of the authorised dealer who sold it to you. It does not seem wise for you to say you have cut all ties with that dealer. You may need him.
