I'm looking forward to visiting at the weekend. If anyone on Club Together is planning to visit on Saturday or Sunday please let me know - I would love to catch up!
@eurostylinguk let me know what your show highlights are and what I should go and have a look at. How is the Club's temporary campsite?

Sadly, we are unlikely to go this year. Although we live fairly close (about 30 min down the M42!), at the moment, Carol has difficulty in walking (still waiting for a new hip) and we tend to visit her mum on Saturday's (she's 93 and still living on her own). Sunday is always difficult because of playing for the morning service at the Abbey, .....and then I get a bit worried I might spend another 40 odd grand on a new caravan... 🤣🤣🤣
@Rowena: Should things become possible - (you never know) - I'll let you know.....
To those who are going: have a lovely time.... and let us all know which new caravan or motorhome you come away with... 🤣🤣🤣

It's a shame I won't get to see you @Hja but totally understand it's a long drive for a day trip. We often have members visiting the show book Chapel Lane Club Campsite which is a lovely Club Campsite not too far from the NEC (for future reference).

@Rowena We’ve had such a lovely day so far — it’s absolutely perfect here on the temporary campsite! We’ve popped back to the motorhome for lunch (and a bit of IG reel creating 🎥), and we’re almost ready for a 10-minute stroll back to finalise a couple of purchases before settling in for another quiet evening.

We are showed out and its time to start heading back to The Cotswolds……..here's our top tips for an enjoyable trip to the NEC:
- Stay on the pop up campsite - its super convenient as you can nip back and forth to relax in the comfort of your own unit, its literally a 10 minute walk or 2 mins by the free shuttle bus.
- Take a bottle of water with you - drinks can be expensive so grab a travelling drink!
- Comfortable shoes and comfortable clothes - you can walk miles and miles, plus its super warm in there.
- Avoid the busy times (between 11am and 2pm its absolutely mental)
- Walk around the edges first - lots of the smaller trade stands are around the edges and can offer some super deals on accessories.
and finally……..our MUST sees:
- Visit the Caravan and Motorhome Club stand, its manned by a wide variety of people who can direct you to the best advice and holiday tips……oh and sign up for a free night.
- Take a look at the new Burstner prototype motorhomes, which hopefully will go into production……we might be signing on that dotted line if they do!
- Check out the Inspiration Theatre where you can catch some incredible talks with travel experts such as Andrew Ditton, Susan Calman and Kwoklyn Wan,
- Check out all the accessories and shop around for the best deals…….oh and have deep pockets.
If you're heading to the show, have a great time
