Air Con under the bench or in the sky?

I’m looking at the Truma Saphir Comfort RC under the bench model for my new pilote motorhome. It’s 6.20 in length and I’m asking for honest feedback back. I don’t really want a sky AC as it will steal the natural daylight from the living area which I love.
Does the AC get cool enough ? ( I’m sure any salesperson will tell me it does)
And do I really need another remote controller to hunt for on a hot night?
Thanks in advance for any feedback back.

Cannot comment on the Truma, but we have a Dometic on the roof of our caravan, unit is now 11 years old. Works well and fits in the 400x400 mm small roof light , originally where the Omnivent extractor was, so not that much light lost inside.

We did consider the under bench ones, but ducting would have had to be taken up to roof level to distribute the cold air, which would have been unsightly, so we discounted them.

Our remote control came with a holder that fixes to a wall or cupboard side, so easy to keep track of.

We have the Truma Aventa roof mounted system on our Coachman Laser 575 caravan which has proved to be excellent. Our last holiday on the French Mediterranean coast saw daily temperatures of 35-40 Celsius. The system was left on night mode with the curtains drawn and it performed really well keeping the caravan at around 24 Celsius.
