Water

I have a peugeot nuevo auto sleeper. When i put the water on the fuse keeps blowing. Was wondering if it could be the pump? If it is how do i access the pump. Book says the pump is submerged, does this mean the tank needs to come off.
The motorhome year is 2017.
If it does need to come off does anyone know anywhere that could fix the problem in the wiltshire area.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank. Dave o

I’m afraid I can’t help but I know a lot of people who know a lot about Nuevos and AS vans in general.

I suggest you check out the AutoSleepers Owners Forum -

We had a submersible pump in our Bailey motorhome and whilst it didn't blow fuses it did cause us a lot of issues so in the in end we got our dealer to change it for an out of tank Whale pump which worked perfectly. As to access t the pump you might be able to reach it via the water tank inspection cover, although i f it causing an electrical issue I wonder if it would be better to swap it for a new one. Below I have attached a picture of our water tank which I imagine will be similar to yours. You can see the inspection cover and you can see the wire where it enters the tank. Hope this might help? Obviously tank sizes and configuration will vary from motorhome to motorome

Before any large scale work it would be prudent to check the wiring by disconnecting the pump and finding if the fuse still blows. We are all assuming the fuse is the corect value as stated in the handbook.
