After towing my van for approx 100miles the 12volt electric system completely failed to work. Checked every thing to no avail, but after 12 hours the system restored on its own, all working fine. This has happed on two occasions

When it restored after 12 hours was it on hook up during that time?

Most likely a dud battery, have it checked. (I am assuming the second time it was also recharged)

Was the 12 volt system working before you set out and do you charge the leisure battery via car

In reply to Amesford, yes and yes. In reply to Peedee, the battery was new six weeks ago and is showing a charge of 12.75volts.

In my Bailey the circuit board has some sort of relays fitted, they can fail. Solution was to upgrade board to an Apuljack Electronics replacement
