Bunree Club Campsite has officially reopened following exciting redevelopment work that began in November 2024 and our campsite team are looking forward to welcome you all back.

The redevelopments include:

  • A brand-new facilities block with dual access to allow it to remain open during cleaning times.
  • A fully accessible shower room and toilet, and an inclusive bathroom.
  • A new laundry/dishwash room that uses green technologies like solar PV.
  • A new, standalone timber-clad drying room.
  • Improvements to the motorhome waste point, service points, roads, and paths.
  • A refurbished reception area.
  • The addition of serviced pitches.

Have you booked your stay at the new and improved Bunree Club Campsite yet?

If you have a visit planned we would love for you to share your thoughts and post photos here on your return. 🙂

@peedee why should there be? Were they on the plan for the upgrade? The metering trial is still ongoing? It would be perhaps foolish to install the infrastructure and any new meters before then? There might or might be a demand.

Why not? C&mC have been evaluating meters on site now for over two years and know what the benefits are. When upgrading sites surely it's the ideal opportunity to install them especially as they claim it is only the UI that some members struggle with. Software requires no site access to .

I would think it prudent to leave it till the end of the trial to get feedback from those that actually use club sites and/or have actually used them. No use putting things in and the expense if the trial showed poor feedback. And of course if it did show a great demand then work can start on the best system.
