Hymer Rear LED Light Repair

My 2020 Hymer ML-T 620 rear offside brake light has stopped working. It’s the same unit as the picture below. It appears to be a sealed unit requiring replacement. Has anyone managed to repair this fault. The remaining lights; rear light, indicator, rear fog and reversing light all work so the unit is clearly being powered.

I’ve seen on Youtube that it is possible to repair a sealed unit by accessing the circuit board and checking and re-soldering any dodgy looking joints on the circuit board. Has anyone done this or managed to repair such a fault?

Bit of a longshot, but companies advertise who can strip and repair the car dashboard display modules. I'm guessing the tech in these and skills to repair are very similar. Could be worth spending some time with Google on this one.

I ended up replacing the unit. The brake light, which was the one not working, is the only LED component in the unit, the rest are bulbs, so I now have a set of bulbs. I did loads of research online, even looking at German sites, could not find a cheaper unit than the one from Brownhills. They posted out very quickly.

There were some dodgy videos online showing how to repair similar BMW units by breaking into the rear and resoldering any weak looking joints on the circuit board. I also replaced my high level brake light at the same time. About a third of the little leds were not working.Got one for £60
