What are the advantages of registering a converted van as a campervan with the DVLA

My converted T5 is still registered as a van, and I'm tempted to change the registration, which seems easy enough to do. The only tangible difference I know of is making it easier to arrange specialist insurance, but what else? Will my insurance or road tax be cheaper?
