Reserving pitches

If I arrived at a site to find several pitches reserved for friends and the pitches available were ones known to flood I certainly would not be happy! So would I be entitled to a full refund ?

    Why not ask those at HO who have devised this innovation, as we on here can only give you our personal opinion @jeben

    @jeben I cannot give a definitive answer, however, I think that Club staff would use their common sense and HQ guidance, and would not allow any “reserving of pitches” if they had to take some pitches out of use because they were flooded. It’s what happens now in Spring, grass pitches are taken out of use, which limits availability, and folks just choose from what’s left. Quite simple really.

    This being able to ask for a pitch for friends is not a blanket policy across all Club Sites, it’s wholly dependent upon the total availability of pitch choice, and is subject to weather, part closures, how booked up a Site might be, and how it can be managed best by on site staff for the benefit of the majority of users. It’s based on common sense and logic. A difficult concept for some maybe.
