More CAMC app woes. Worrying indeed

Name Dropper First Comment

Having read recently of one of our members worried weekend where all their bookings disappeared, I thought I'd check mine.

66 nights booked a few weeks ago. Now shows only 1 night booked.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the person that manages the app, that I can speak to directly?

I love supporting this club, that for so long I have held in such high esteem, but it is so disappointing to have someone just ruin a reputation through ineptitude.

I left a good review a couple of months back of the app, despite many other very negative reviews. It seemed to work fine for me when I first used it, but it is now being removed from my phone and the reviews changed to reflect just how crap it is.

    Personally I don’t think much to the App. It’s not really a proper app, just a front end to the web site. If your bookings are showing on the web site when you access my profile and my bookings, I wouldn’t worry and just use the web site in future rather than the App. If they don’t show then you need to give the club a call.

    @CREWofTWO As with SteveL above. I can't think of a good reason to use the app. Just use your phone or tablet to access the main website and use that. The app doesn't give any advantages I can think of?

    @Cornersteady The only reason I keep it is to enable the saving of the digital membership card to Wallet.

    I find the app much faster in accessing certain pieces of information, such as Late Availability and using the CL search facility when I know the site I want to view, than having to load up the main web site and then start my search.
