I am looking at purchasing the AVTEX 105 X WIFI system for my Caravan. In the shop it states "Includes UNLIMITED 'Only Pay While You're Away' Data Package option".
Does anybody know how much the monthly costs are for this Data SIM, is it worth buying?

    While I do not have the Avtex I use Smarty in my WiFi router for similar reasons just buying a data pack as I need it. Cost all depends on how much data you require. Currently my latest pack has expired and I have my sim switched off because I am not out and about but I can reactivate it at any time via their App. I usually buy the £9 pack to cover our travels and add ons if necessary.

    Thanks for that, might be something to look at, i assume once you use up your £9 of data you just buy more via the app?

    I use an EE Data Sim in my router (not Avtex). It costs £50 for 120Gb and lasts a year. In practice, I get about 10 months use out of it and that's with us being away for at least a week every month. When it runs out, you can top it up - but because the top-up rates aren't as attractive, I buy a new one. EE has excellent coverage - was getting 85 Mbps download at the Dartmouth C&CC site last month - and that's without the external aerial.
