I could talk for hours on this topic but kept it short and nippy for an easy to digest video. Is there anything that you'd say to a beginner wanting to get into roof tents that I've missed?

Roof tents are great, and would have been attractive to us some 40 years ago. The obvious things that spring to mind are you need to be fairly nimble in terms of clambering in and out, and of course there’s the need to visit the loo during the night, which isn’t for a weak bladder🤭 Blindingly obvious to most folks, but there will be the odd soul to whom it isn’t.

We had a pop up roof micro camper as our first tourer, and one thing we did monitor was wind strength and direction. Is there a recommended “do not exceed” wind strength on the Beaufort Scale for either soft and hard?
