With summer just around the corner I thought it might be nice to post some day in the life photos and/or describe your typical day when staying on either one of our Club Campsites or Cl Sites or when you're touring overseas. I appreciate there might not be a typical day with so many different locations to explore so please feel free to select your favourite day from a recent trip. I would love to hear about what you all get up to, where you explore and your campsite routines.

One day out of many in France ….5pm to5pm. early June, 2021.

We were in the far south near Agen, and about 5pm went back for the third time to Camping Moulin de Mellet . Sophie and Franck own it and were still there and working their socks off. It’s a campsite with everything you could wish for, and today4 years later still only 19 euros a night (£16.25 ) until early July. We had no food with us but Franck ponted to his menu above the rustic bar. So we chose and said will 7pm. be ok

Next morning Sophie came round about 8 am.and brought the baguette and pastries we had ordered and put them on a shelf outside the caravan while we we still in bed . Someone had already cleaned the showers and washrooms - I guess that was her too. We made coffee and sat outside under the trees. The sun was already up

Target for the day was the Latour Marliac garden where Monet bought all those water lilies to fill his lake at Giverny - they still sell them and have a wonderful display, but they also serve elegant outdoor lunches by the lake. So we sat down and smiled at the waitress- and later on when we had strolled the garden we were back at the campsite by 5 pm , and choosing which of their two swimming pools to use.

The Alan Rogers company is part of CAMC and has a report about that campsite. It’s a good one.
