Hi
Have lifted carpet and discovered a series of 1/4" corked holes.
Have no idea why this is there.
Suspect only that some product has been injected and wish to discover what and why please.
Can surply pics if allowed here.

I presume its S/H as I understand this is done to cure damp in the floor.

It sounds to me as if the floor may have suffered from delamination at some point and the holes are where the new 'glue' was injected.

Add photos via the symbol as shown.

Agree with Tinwheeler, delamination has been repaired, not damp.

This is guesswork without a photo. If the holes are randomly spaced then yes it could be a resin repair to the floor. If they are in a nice square or rectangular layout then a metal plate or bracket mam have been fixed to the floor for a table or clamp to hold a bike in place during travel etc.

For a delamination repair, the holes should be evenly spaced, not random, but would cover a larger area than say a table fixing.

Areas most often requiring to be repaired are usually inside the entrance, and the kitchen area, the bits that get the most traffic.
