Hi. I’m looking into a single trip breakdown cover for my motorhome which is 4000kg and 7.5m in length. I’ve had a quote from Red Pennant but wondered if anyone has any other recommendations please?
Thank you

www.eurobreakdown.com gets good reviews on TrustPilot. They say they cover vehicles up to 8 metres in length but you would need to check their weight limit as well as length limit in the event of you needing recovery on a truck. Read their policy booklet carefully to make sure they are offering the level of cover you need. Whereas with a caravan I have stayed on a campsite for three days while my car was being repaired but a motorhomer would need hotel accommodation in that situation. And if you are taking a dog that presents other problems in the event of a motorhome breakdown too. Check carefully. Good luck.

hi. Thank you for the recommendation. I checked with them and they only cover up to 3500kg unfortunately.

Have you checked RAC Arrival? It’s in conjunction with C&CC but last time I checked, you didn’t need to be a member.

If you have a Nationwide account, open a Flex Plus account. For £18 per month you can get travel, mobile and breakdown insurance. It does cover motorhomes up to 7.5 tons and 8 meters long. It also covers breakdown of any other vehicle you own. Its not single trip but excellent value for all year cover.
