That’s a bit like asking what is the best petrol, Shell or BP.

Gas is gas but I’d go for the one with most retail outlets.

you can exchange calor bottles on most club sites , but not flo-gas , so you would have to find an outlet that stocks them

We use both, but because we have a Flogas account for our home use that tends to be cheaper and gets delivered. However Flogas cannot be replaced on Club sites only Calor, so if I think I’m going to need to replace a cylinder while away in the UK, I take the Calor bottles.
if travelling in Europe what you take is irrelevant as neither Flogas or Calor can be replaced. I do take a Campinggaz 907 cylinder for our Cadac to save plugging into the caravan and using UK gas. I don’t use refillable cylinders.

Calorlite used to be the default setting, but they have had several attempts at ceasing supply of the bottles over recent years. I believe the long term plan was for them to move away from the leisure market and as such Flogas seem to be filling the void. The bottles are near exactly the smae in size and weight, but the connection fitting differs.
