Outfit length ?

Could someone tell me what is your outfit length ? Does it mean the length of the caravan including the drawbar or not or, is it car and caravan overall length ?

@scotmurie according to the club here:

The length of outfit refers to the size of your caravan (including A frame but not including car length, i.e. shipping length) or motorhome.

But more details as @Tinwheeler says would help us to help you? For example are you asking which sites can accommodate your caravan?

Thanks for the replies. That has answered my question which arose while looking at campsites in France but it there didnt seem to be any way to find out the relevent info (never thought that it might be in the handbook) Thanks guys

@scotmurie I’ve no idea what the French definition of outfit length is, although assume it includes A frame. However, they often seem to fix a length that would exclude double axles. When we towed a caravan, I noticed on street view that the site had a sign at the entrance limiting outfits to a length shorter than ours. I emailed them and received the reply that there was no issue as long as it only had one axle. If you have a double axle van it would be worth checking the site accepts them.
