I love roses, always have. I love the ones I have in my garden, and visiting other gardens that have roses as a feature, or complimenting other flowers. Thought it might be nice to start a thread so that others can post photos, and share nice places to see roses, as well as ask for help or advice on planting, choosing caring etc……..

First garden recommend to visit from me is Burton Agnes Hall and Walled Garden, not far from Bridlington in East Yorkshire. (HHA) There are roses dotted all around this wonderful garden, but part of it is designed into “colour rooms” where you will get roses of a particular colour complimenting similar shades of flower. It’s a dog friendly garden, great for children as there are lots of giant games to play, and the House, Hall and Cafe are very good. Plant sales as well, including……..Roses😁

I can thoroughly recommend RHS Rosemoor. At the right time of year (late June?) they have a fabulous display in their dedicated rose garden. The rest of the gardens are very good too 👍
