    He is, and his contributions go much wider than his Nature/Animal high profile. He did a good job when in charge of BBC 2, gave us Monty Python, The Old Grey Whistle Test, amongst many others. If ever a person from this last 100 years was worthy of a lasting memorial it is DA.
