Mick Gray "Bugs"

Dianne Thompson, a former Club Together Moderator, has informed me that Mick Grey sadly passed away at the end of March. Mick was also a Club Together Moderator in the earlier days of forum and went under the byline of Bugs. Many of the long term contributors will no doubt remember him. Condolences to his family and thanks to Dianne for letting us know.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Bugs was a huge help with launching Club Together and a very valued contributor. It was also wonderful to meet him at the NEC one year. My thoughts are with his friends and family.

I remember Bugs. A big Newcastle fan from what I recall. Didn't he set up a caravan forum when he left CT? Sad to read of his passing.

@Wherenext yes you are correct in both aspects. He set up the CaravanChat forum, and he was a huge Toon supporter. He has not been well for a while but his death has taken me by surprise as he was still posting on CChat towards the end of March. I feel very sorry for his wife, family and friends.

Thank you Rowena for your kind words. Yes we both met with you, David and Riggers at a meeting with you at the NEC at beginning of ClubTogether. I always enjoyed CT as Moderator but age caught up and we sold our Caravan some years back.

Bugs and I enjoyed running CaravanChat which will now sadly disappear I will close it in few weeks when Members have had time to review. Bugs had always suffered ill health having to have Blood Transfusion once a month. Latterly he had a fall and found it difficult getting about.
