Sorry, I meant the original post. When we were staying at Buxton we walked down into the town and I seem to recall some wooden sculptures en route, its probably a false association?

my site photo is Castleton , the wooden sculpture is down to an artistic warden very good it is too.

@clarinetman unless the Club has improved it, we found the Castleton dog walk area very poor. It’s tiny, might suit a seldom walked Chihuahua, but for anything over knee height it wasn’t even a stroll. It’s not an easy place to walk a dog is the Castleton Site. The roads outside the site are narrow pavements, and the closest footpath is of course a sheep field. The sculpture is lovely though.
