Club email comms

We dont use Club sites very often but from memory of last year we received an email before leaving for a site - essentially reminding us of our booking, and an email after the visit asking me to review the site with their questionnaire and asking me to review the site on the web page.

We visited a site last week for three nights, had no email before, or since. I will write a review on the site page on the web site.

However, I was wondering if others have received these emails this year or has this ceased? I have checked my comms preferences on My Profile and they are set to receive email.

On one level I dont care whether I get e emails or not, but last year I had some issues with the club not sending me emails, even though my preferences said they should

Yes we got one the other day for a booking for mid April. And we got one for our last site.

We have only had one booking this year and received a reminder a month before, then again a few days before. Have been back a week and so far no request for review or to complete a survey.

Similar experiance to SteveL but I have been back a a couple of weeks now and no request for a review.

We've had both the email beforehand and the request for a review so it seems there is no system applicable to all.

Whilst I do write reviews for CLs I don't generally bother with Club sites unless there is something out of the ordinary

We had an email beforehand and an email asking for a review 3 days after leaving the site. From other responses, and the OP, it seems a bit random, whether one receives emails or not.

With my request for a review it said I could win something (really can't remember what so it can't have been that good) if I did so, but I always do anyway.

Sorry I finally found the email in my trash folder, the prize was for filling in a survey and the request for a review was separate.
