Hi

Considering changing to a Tiguan 2.0 ltr 150bhp diesel awd as tow car to tow Bailey Unicorn Cabrerra 1600 mtplm, does anyone else have this set up or tow another of Unicorn range which are similar, if so how well does Tiguan cope, power/stability/mpg

    I don't have a Tiguan, but do have a Skoda Kodiaq which is basically the same car, and tow a Unicorn Cabrera.

    Mine is the 200bhp with DSG gearbox, and I'm delighted with it both when towing and solo.

    Be aware that older models have an 80kg tow bar limit and newer ones 100kg.

    Also, check the vin plate for towing weight…not all Skodas are approved to tow, and you won't be able to have a towbar fitted.
