@CLMaddie can you please explainwhy the symbol for Drive over Waste Disposal,WDin a square,is included in the Site Directory listings of CL facilities but is not included in the web site listings, where it could be used as search mechanism.

Could it be included sometime?

That would be good, and we would also like to be able to search for CLs that don't accept dogs. We can filter for no children so why not no dogs?

As a CL owner, I believe the club website should also allow members to search for CLs with fully serviced pitches and those with online booking. Many CLs now offer an online booking facility which I'm sure a lot of members would prefer to use as it's easier to check their availability as well as making an immediate booking without having to wait for a response to emails or repeat phone calls.

We offer both fully serviced pitches and online availability and booking but it's frustrating that members are unable to search these two criteria.

I have to agree with @Chris the younger, the ability to search for CLs which don't accept dogs seems only logical if you can search for those which do accept them. Here at Skybarn Farm we do welcome dogs and we have a 2.5 mile private dog walk direct from the site.

The whole facilities listings in the Site Directory and the web pages need revising and updating.

In all of my decades of staying on CLs I have only ever come across 2 members carrying fishing gear and using them. Both were on CLs that were fisheries! I've nothing against fishing folk but why have it mentioned even when it's not on site? No different from telling me where the nearest cycle paths are to be found. This sort of information should be restricted to the owners description in details on the web.

Times have changed but the listings haven't. We need to be told which CLs have Serviced pitches, which have metered electricity, drive over waste points, which are adult only or dog free., Hardstandings if any and sloping if applicable. You know, the important points.

    Hi Nellie,

Thank you for your question. Drive over waste disposals was originally only available on Club Sites and in the last few years we have seen a very CL Sites have invested in these.

There have been several changes in the facilities that CL Owners offer and we are planning on reviewing and improving these options. While I can't give you a precise timeline right now, I want to assure you it's a key area we're focusing on.

    Thanks

    CL Maddie

Thanks @CLMaddie I hope the change come to fruition and that some if not all the ideas suggested by @Wherenext are included in the changes too.
