Easter Break Inspiration

Looking at somewhere to go at Easter for a family trip, thinking south somewhere but would consider further. Ideally with some days out opportunities for the kids.
Recommendations please!

It’s difficult to go further than south😄.

It might help if you tell us your starting point and the sort of place you like as you’ve given us no clues.

Paris in the springtime always has appeal.

Apologies, I meant the south of the UK.

Think a lot of sites will be booked up for Easter, so finding space might be the way to go now.

@TheCaravanningMummy can you give a bit more information please, such as age of children, things you like/dislike? “South” is a huge area, so maybe some options such as SW, SE, inland South, Beach South? Might be able to offer some ideas then 🙂

I noticed you've mentioned you might be in Sussex. If that's the case you'll know all of the area around the South East so how about Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft sites as there are beaches, fun fairs and inland from them there could be a days boat hire on the Norfolk Broads. As mentioned by @Wildwood you may have problems with booking but good luck.

Longleat Club Campsite is one of our family favourites. We've been back a few times and we love hearing the sea lions. The local pub does an amazing cheese fondue and we always visit Wookey Hole. I love the caves (and the cheese) and it brings back lots of happy memories from when I visited as a child.
