Great site for dog walks

we love Sherwood Pines Camping at King Clipstone. Miles of walks straight out the campsite and sometimes without a dog in sight.

@ChrisSummers46 thanks for sharing this, Chris! Looks great, and as we are in Kent, it is easy for us to get there. I didn't know that Forestry England does camp sites! And as the other half is over 60, we get a great discount too :-)

Thanks indeed for this. Sounds a nice Site, there’s some great cycling around Sherwood Pines. Only thing I would add, specifically for dog owners is that it has in the past been a hotspot for Seasonal Canine Illness, (as has Clumber Park) so it might be wise to give some thought to when to go, September onwards up to around Christmas is when most cases occur. Folks coming from a way away might not be aware, so I post for this reason. Site staff might have an update.
