OAPs back on tour!!
18 months or so ago, we finished with touring caravans after 30+ years with the Club. Final straw was when the Landrover broke down again, and then quickly followed by my wife having a hip-replacement, which due to the horrendous waiting times in the NHS, we had to fund ourselves. So having sold van and car, we spent a year of slow recovery and of time spent in several static van parks!!
To say we missed touring is a gross understatement and after much heart-searching we have re-joined the Club, bought another van and another tow car! So if anyone spots us two 75+ OAPs hobbling about Tredegar House, Broadway and Brecon sites in the next few months, give us a wave or have a chat! (Red Nissan X-Trail + Bailey Unicorn Madrid) See you soon!

75 years young and rearing to go, wonderful. My 85 year old uncle has just had his first knee replacement and awaiting the second, so hopefully he can get back into the caravan for late spring.

Seems to be a recurring theme on this forum with hip replacements😊 @ColBur going through more or less the same thing ourselves although I am not sure we are going to buy a new outfit but might try Experience Freedom when my wife is fully recovered. Hope it all goes well for you and you enjoy your return to the hobby.
