Bed limiter

Hi all,
We recently purchased a new Benimar primero 282 and had an issue with the front bed. On a few occasions we have had it down and the bed wouldn't go back up until I manually did it which takes an age.
We often travel and store the van with the bed slightly off the ceiling due it concerns of creating potential damp.
I've been informed that the limiter could be faulty due to the above routine that we do...... Confused..... Any ideas

Firstly as it's new it is the suppliers responsibility.
I do exactly the same as you for travelling & storing but only a quick press of button nothing noticeable but do find it also helps with the creaks whilst travelling. Always leave duvet on but not pillows.
I have had your problem occur & yes it is tedious, I think it is more a fault with the belt tension than any limiter.
I have a Mileo 243 & I moved the limiter as it never came down far enough, it caused other problems but it was due to an incorrect size ladder being supplied…..
The biggest problem with mine is that the switch to raise bed can accidentally be pressed with a knee when accessing the bed (it's only used by the grandkids usually), Benimar in their wisdom have wired it up to the lighting circuit, so we have had a couple of instances when the fuse has blown, the bed is down & the only lights that work are the ones in the extractor fan…..
It's great fun removing cushions to get to the fuse box in the dark on your hands & knees with little room to manoeuvre…..
