We’re excited to invite you to help us improve the way members find and book campsites. We filter our campsites by regions, but some members have told us that they’re not always sure exactly where a region is in the UK. So we’re working on new ways to take you through the booking system, and we’d like you to test them and tell us which works best! All you have to do is click the link below, which will take you to a website called Lyssna. Here, you’ll be given a chance to try out our new ‘journeys’ and let us know what you think. It will only take around 4 minutes and it will be a huge help in ensuring the Caravan and Motorhome Club’s website gives members the best possible experience.

    Emma

Firstly I cannot get your @ address to work, however more importantly I am unable to access your links using my Kindle, and I suspect that there will be many others who are in the same situation. Could you please try and get your IT department to recognise that many members use this means of reading and posting on this forum and for them to facilitate this. Thanks.

I will try to respond using my mobile but it is much more difficult to do so.

@EmmaCAMC - just one very minor point - in your introduction you give the choice of mobile or desktop device. Where does a laptop sit? I would regard it as a mobile device since I only use mine on the move (i.e. in the van), whereas others may use it as a desktop. Survey completed.

@EmmaCAMC Thanks, I have completed the survey using my mobile phone.

Hi @richardandros thanks for the feedback. A laptop comes under a desktop device. I've updated the introduction to make this clear. Thank you for completing the survey!

Hi @nelliethehooker I've reached out to our testing platform provider and currently testing is unable to be completed on a Kindle, they have logged this as something to explore in in the future. Thank you for completing the test!

@EmmaCAMC this is the message I get when I click on the link for mobile. I'm using a Samsung tablet, Android. I'll try it on my phone.

Thanks @EmmaCAMC if they manage to sort it out it will make future correspondence much simpler.

@InaD that is just what I got too, and I also filled it in on my mobile.

I think both ways in the demo are laborious and painful and neither address the issue of regions.
Having counties or regions etc needs to go completely.
It’d be best to have a fully interactive full uk map that you can zoom in on with filters

    Filters like

    Available dates

    CL

    Club site

    No dogs

    Dog friendly

    Etc

Both scenarios worked well and very quickly on my iMac. not tried on my phone as I don't use it for selecting / booking sites and it would not work on my iPad. As quite a few on here seem to use pads, it seems a bit of an omission. Just my preference but I would have preferred a map of Cornwall with the site locations clickable, rather than just a list.
