Recently purchased our campervan a really high spec self build and I have just had it reclassified as a motor caravan with DVLA, took about 2 weeks to get it all back.Only concern at moment is the lack of lpg locally and wether its worth changing to a gas bottle supply.We have 250 w of solar panels and 200ah of lithium batteries.

    We bought a new PVC last year and the manufacturer has changed from supplying the new vans from LPG to Diesel for alternative heating source and calor for cooking mainly due to the reduction in LPG suppliers.

    You can get an app showing LPG outlets.

    LPG outlets have been steadily closing for a good few years.

    Our nearest outlet is 12 miles away. Use an app such as mylpg.eu and you can generally find an outlet on your travels.
