Hi, we are two keen cyclists, particularly my OH who rides on the road, on off road trails, and does a lot of Smart bike training at home as well. We both have road e-bikes and MTB E- bikes, and OH has all sorts of other bike types. We also enjoy watching Road Racing, Velodrome events and Cyclocross events. We generally take our bikes away with us, and take in lots of the wonderful scenery around the UK. Home is Yorkshire, so we need the E motors to get up some of the hills!

Bikes on our pitch at lovely Marazion Club Site, we were down there to watch the start of the Tour of Britain in Penzance.

Don't know if you have seen this report, tda and other cyclist, but it could well result in an excellent traffic-free experience if it comes to fruition.

@nelliethehooker yes, had a read yesterday, would be a fabulous route. It’s not that far from us the East end of The Snake, and we often drive out to Ladybower. OH rides all over Strines, so knows the link roads between Woodhead Road and The Snake, which are well cycled by enthusiasts round here. Links to Trans Pennine Trail as well. HGVs have been banned for a long time now from using Snake, and there’s always delays, partial closures. It’s a lovely drive.
