Dog mess on pitches
I’ve just seen a person get out of their caravan and walk their dog onto a vacant adjacent pitch where the owner watched it urinate and then poo on the middle of the empty pitch which here at Southland is right next to the start of the dog walk.
I am animal lover but one of the things that I dislike about caravan holidays is that it attracts dog owners and their pets. I only just cope with being amongst so many dogs.
Surely that owner could have encouraged the dog to walk the 15 paces it would have taken to reach the dog walk?
Why do dog owners think that picking up the mess is ok, the next visitor to that site will walk the residue material into their van. Maybe they will have a child that sits on it too.
Moderator Comment - Inline with the Community Managers instructions not to discuss dogs on the forum I have closed this discussion. When you witness things like this you need to discuss it locally with the site staff who will take action if needed. Whilst I can see that it can be annoying/upsetting to witness such things not much is gained discussing it here.

So tell the wardens. That behaviour breaches site rules and the wardens are there to deal with such issues.
I suspect your thread will not last as it will stir up a hornets nest and the discussion forum is not intended to be a place for complaints.

“Why do dog owners think that picking up the mess is ok,”
I can assure you that the majority of dog owners don’t think like this, only the idle, unthinking, selfish ones.
It needs to be reported to on site staff, with photos if you can get one. I find it totally unacceptable, and would report it, not moan on here where nothing will actually get done. 🤷♀️
