They also had problems at Ramslade. It all sounds rather co-ordinated, a bit like the invasion of Cromer a couple or so years ago.

Rapid introduction of ANPR across the site network will go some way to stop unregistered units entering club sites. But maybe those barriers will be driven through.

Understand your sentiment but who will end up paying for that in the long run via increased prices.

Perhaps the Club will have to install rising bollards, controlled only by site staff in addition the usual barriers. I think they have something like that at Alderstead Heath? I wonder if Peedee is correct in thinking this seems to be a co-ordinated invasion, perhaps they see CMC sites as a bit of a soft target? My main concern is that if the Club are forced into providing more and more robust measures on sites like Plymouth Sound then it could be the death knell for such sites?

We would like to reassure members that Hillhead Club Campsite is now fully operational and unwanted visitors have been evicted from the Campsite. We appreciate members understanding and support and would also like to take this opportunity to thank our Site Staff for managing a difficult situation. I will now close this discussion.
