We regularly run our Adria Twin Supreme near the max permitted weight limit of 3500kg gross and the van normally rests against the original "bump stop" rubber suspension support.  Do members think that the addition of a relatively cheap air assist system such at the Martech type would be an advantage?

Would it both improve the ride and ground clearance/look of the van?

The answer is yes, but it will not legally allow you to exceed your 3.5 ton weight.

Adding it would allow you to up plate the van so you wouldn't risk travelling "overweight".
