Hi everyone, does anyone have any ideas regarding my whale hot water system which since last emptied over winter is running really slow? Everything ok with heat and no sign of any leaks 🙏🏼. Cold water is ok. Any info would be much appreciated, thanks

You probably have and airlock in your hot water pipework, hopefully it may disipate with running the hot water tap or after a drive to site?

Hi , thanks for that, it's been a month now so not sure about airlock but I've improved it slightly by adjusting the pressure regulator.

I am not familiar with the Whale system but have in the past experienced problems with the hot side of the water system which I had always put down to an air lock somewhere in the system. One way I found of clearing this was to switch everything off and then empty the tank again and then refill. For some reason it seemed to work on the second fill. Might be worth a try.

Lime scale build up in hot water pipes if you have been re filling with hard water - same as lime scale in a kettle?

Hi,  what motorhome have you got? I have a Bailey Autograph 3 series and have had slow hot water from new, I think it’s down to a pinched hot pipe somewhere? Would have to take out all furniture to find and then maybe not get an answer. Best of luck.
