Newbie 1st trip out
Hello, Sarah and I (Dave) are off on our 1st multi night trip next week. not far but up the the Derbyshire Dales. Got a mix of pub stops, CL and a large C&MC site booked. Not too much driving and hopefully quiet roads in lovely weather. I think the shock to me was the vast difference in prices.
What is peoples advice for the first trip?
cheers
Dave

As peedee, but also, pack light and take a pen and paper to note the things you should have brought with you.
I would however advise taking a few games and some bags or stacker boxes to put the wet things.
Don't forget to put the fridge on a day early so it's down to temperature and make sure all appliances are working.

Only put that fridge on early if you’ve got mains electric available!
The usual advice is to not go far from home for your first trip. Sounds as if that might be your plan.
Enjoy!

As the OP is 4 months old I guess Dave and Sarah have completed their first trip by now, and been away a few times more too!!😊 Hope everything went to plan for them.

It’s EM's fault 😂😂😂

It must have been boring day for EM, what with having to troll through old CT posts for something to do!!😃

The reason this has reappeared is because there is a post awaiting moderation by a non member that won't be approved so I will close this discussion as the original request was some months ago.
