Can you fit an Alko jack bracket with e-movers

I've just realised my car doesn't have a jack to raise the vehicle as it has the foam based system for puncture repair. That means I have no way of lifting the van if I suffer a flat. Can the AlKo jack be retrofitted to an Eriba Troll if it already has motor movers fitted?

Thank you.

Kevin.

Kevin, up until the newer in house chassis for Eriba Tourings was brought on line for 2214 models the answer is a definite No, whether it had a mover fitted or not.

I've owned Tourings from 2003, only changing to a Feeling last summer. The best way to lift your van is with a trolley jack lifting the axle. Second best way is with a short stubby bottle jack. As your ground clearance height is limited your option of bottle jack is also. THe only one I know which will work is the one I still carry for use on my Feeling. You need a Coram bottle jack as used with Land Rover etc. This has a double lift ram, a cradle type top and a good wide base. If sat on a piece of plywood it is a good alternative.

If you have not already joined the Eribafolk forum, not the Facebook option, then I would strongly advise you do so as it is the source of all you will need to know. Whilst many like Facebook I find it is not the correct platform for searching information but more of a chatroom. Just my opinion.

I post under the same username as a forum moderator.

That should be 2024 and not 2214.
