Hi we used to go to a site at pidley camb but it has been closed for a couple of years 

does anyone know if it’s going to reopen 

Was a good site and restaurant 

also good restaurant at the golf club down the road 

if it’s not reopening any recommended service pitch sites in the area around st Ives Cambridgeshire

    Was it Stroud Hill Park by any chance? If so Google flags it up as permanently closed. Even UKCampsites says its closed. Also the website link no longer works. If it is this site, we went in 2005 and loved the restaurant. It was in a lovely barn which had been built by the owner.

    Correct. The campsite is closed. But the Barn Restaurant at Pidley appears to be still open and operating. If you google that name rather than the campsite you will get a phone number .
