I've just purchased a Rollerteam tolino L second hand. Does anyone know the fuel tank size on this Fiat Ducato model ? Also what sort of miles per gallon I could expect. I'm new to campervans so would be grateful for any help.

It depends on the year of make - 60 litres is fairly standard, but can go as high as 90 litres on some MHs.

The mpg will vary depending on the BHP rating of the engine and how you drive - I get 27/28 mpg from my 2.3L A Class but on a van conversion like yours, mid to high 30's is more likely.

Fiat seem to use different size fuel tanks almost on a whim. Your handbook should tell you. As Jim says, it depends on the age of the vehicle. It also depends on the wheel base and whether it’s an AdBlue user. We had a 2020 with a large fuel tank and small AdBlue tank and a 2021 with a smaller fuel tank and larger AdBlue tank.🤷🏻‍♂️.

MPG - we got 19 from a 2007 3 litre model and low 30s from the others which were both 2.3 140 versions.

Vans, usually Continental, that have packs as options, often include the long range 90 ltr (20 gallon) tank as part of it.

we have this option, in fact every unit from our brand will be fitted with this pack, despite the hand book suggesting its 'optional'.

re UK vans, its often the 60ltr unless otherwise specified.

like Jim, we get 27/28 mpg and, with the larger tank, a useful range of going on 500 miles before the pips start to squeak....usually looking to fill after 400 miles or so, as the guage hits a quarter full.

Thanks guys I really appreciate the advise. I haven't got the van yet (next week) so have no handbook as yet. The engine is 2287 litres. I forgot to put that ! I'm not very mechanical minded.
