It's Motorhome and Caravan show week at the NEC! Joining us for the show this week?

Join us for some of the amazing speakers and forums we'll be hosting on the Caravan and Motorhome Club stand in Hall 7, stand 7.12!

    I must admit that I have never heard of any of the speakers or demonstrators, apart from GC and NL of course, who the heck are they?

    We went to the show on Tuesday and the traffic was an absolute nightmare. We were stuck on the M42 trying to exit at J6 to the NEC for nearly an hour and apparently approaches from all directions were jammed. We won’t be going ever again unless the traffic problems are solved. Were we just unlucky?

    On the plus side, the new EV charging facility and car park (East 3) are excellent and well used.

    Surely you know who Matt Allwright (of the BBC)  and Annabel Croft (former tennis player and currently on Strictly)? Lee Davey is a regular contributor to the Club magazine.

    I think the trick of attending events at the NEC is to arrive early.

    I went on Tuesday as well, and was parked by 8.45. Breakfast in 'Spoons, and into the show at 10am.

    Mind you, it took me an hour to get out!

    Indeed. Annabelle Croft’s Sprinter based PVC made an appearance on Strictly last week.

    Both Matt Allwright and Lee Davey have frequently been featured in the mag and on the website and recognisable from that alone I’d have thought. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I don't think its relevant who the speaker is, so long as the speaker is knowledgeable, and the subject is relevant and of interest.

    Another year I’ve managed to miss this event, they have in the past cost me dearly. Even stopped those casual visits to dealerships for the same reason. I now dread going in for services so will be looking for a mobile technician.🤣

    No idea who Matt Allwright is as I watch so little TV these days. I do know who Annabel Croft is only as a tennis player, and as she is performing in Strictly that's as good a reason to unknown her as far as I am concerned. I don't read the who the contributors are in the magazine as there is so little in it these days to catch my attention. However everyone to their own thing.

    Unfortunately, I missed the show this time....  just too much going on this week, I'm afraid.  Anyway, we went in February and bought a new 'van, so we dare not risk spending more money...  🤣🤣
