Does anyone else have problems with these.  Mine was fitted on new caravan at the beginning of June.  I haven't used it a lot as I prefer to use reversing skills rather than loose them!  But in Scotland used it to park nose to sea front.  When it came to leave a few days later it would only move left or right.  Next time it would only go right.  So tried to contact dealer and manufacturer so I can continue my holiday.  Its clearly not fit for purpose so I am not happy.  At my age I don't want to get stuck somewhere and I definitely can't stay at my sisters as that needs a mover.  Both caravan battery and remote are working as the mover clamps onto and off the wheels OK.

You tried to contact dealer and manufacturer, but what happened then?

No product is perfect so problems will arise and it's how good the support is in addressing the issue that then counts.

In June of 2022 I visited a lot of dealers in NL and the make of mover that most seemed to be fitting was the E Mover, which I thought was a good indication of the quality.

Hi we have had this problem occassionaly & have found by using spray oil on the sliding part solves the problem. This was advice from Power Touch ,or turn it on manually. Our mover is automatic

Nothing has happened since 2pm yesterday when dealer promised to pass on my details to emove.  Today I tried to contact emove with no luck.  Dealer not returning my call today.

So right it's how they deal with problems  that is an indicator of good customer service.  Cussed services I tend to call them.

Have you tried doing just a visual check e.g. dont engage the rollers just press each button in turn and see how the rollers react when not against the wheel. I have a powertouch doing this simple check led me to believe the hand held battery was not functioning correctly replaced 9v battery and been ok ever since.

Have you looked to see if there is a mobile caravan repairer in your area the site staff should be able to advise you, if there is it's sure to be your best option even with the cost.

I have a manual mover and earlier this year had a problem with it.  It kept stopping, would only go backwards and intermittent side to side.  Called a mobile technician who came out next day.  His box of tricks went through the process and reset system.  He thought the probably cause was me not disconnecting the caravan/car cable correctly

The mover is powered directly from the leasure battery so the connection from car has absolutely nothing to do with it. One possible intermittent cause that I have encountered is interference from 4/5g mobile phone masts. Always attempt to work the remote as close as possible to the mover controller areal.
