Hi everyone.

I have a new sprite Major 4EB.

Its currently stored now until next year at which point I want to flush and clean the water system.

Puriclean seems the product to use but I read that any water filter needs to be removed before hand.

Does my caravan actually have a water filter as I cant find one in the caravan and the manual doesn't seem to mention one.

Thanks for any guidance / advice.

Phil.

Hiya Phil. My guess is that it doesn’t have one. We have a 2019 Challenger that doesn’t have one.

Don't worry about it. I permanently removed mine from my caravan on the strength of a Club report many years ago that unless they were renewed regularly, filters can be a health hazard. They are more trouble than they are worth.

We have had 2 Swift Group caravans.....1998 and 2008 models, neither have had water filters fitted.   I understand that Swift stopped fitting them over 25 years back.

If you (alost certainly) have a 'flojet' pump, this will help !

    Hi GTrimmer,
I didn't notice that mesh filter before so I'll take another look.
