Hi, hopefully someone will be able to answer my question.

I had to put my Campervan awning away wet and last weekend when I came to use it, it has got some mold on the awning roof and sides.

Can anyone suggest what is the best solution to remove it?

Thanks in advance

Neil

Both Thule and Fiamma, the main suppliers of wind outs, sell a cleaner.

Thanks for the reply. The Thule cleaner is for PVC plastic material and Flamma say they don't do a cleaner.

Mold and algea can usually be removed with a bleach solution, unless the fabric manufacturer specifically says avoid bleach.

Mix 1 part bleach with 4 parts water and sponge or spray over the effected area.

Leave 24 hours, wash off and repeat.

Wet and Forget is very effective on mould, but might stain. Check a small area first.

white vinegar is very effective. Just Google how to use it. Cheap as well, rinse and no smell.
