Query: Charging Calcium-Calcium Battery

We have a calcium-calcium leisure battery in our caravan. I've been reading about the technology on the internet and have formed the impression that the solar panel and charge controller are suitable to supply the higher required voltage; indeed, the caravan hasn't been attached to car/ 230V for many weeks and the battery is still at 13.8V :-). I've no idea whether the 230V-12V supply/ charger is adequate. Can anyone please advise what I should look for?
