Profile photo
Hi all,
I have entered a photo into my profile, but when I post discussions my profile photo is blank. I’m new to this so it’s probably something I’m doing wrong. Help appreciated.

I doubt it’s anything you’re doing wrong. It’s been an ongoing issue and you will see many 'ghosts' across the forum.
Sometimes using a different device can do the trick. For example, trying it on a PC instead of a tablet.

If you are, you’ll be in good company here 🤪

You could also check the size of the photo you are trying to upload as it needs to be quite small pixel/mb wise. Also a good idea to clear your cache as this sometimes prevents you seeing change or changes being registered.

It sounds as if you have uploaded successfully if you can see it in your profile. Have you tried clearing your cache? Once you have done that press F5 to refresh your screen to see if that works.

Yes, you have to scroll right down to the bottom of the my profile page and press save.
I have tried to change my photo, it’s changed on the my profile page, but then it keeps asking me to log in, but won’t let me log. Yet, I am logged in on CT🤷♀️
If anyone can see a new profile picture for me, let me know please. Old one is dog in a chariot, new one is……….not a dog in a garden😁

😁👏👏 Yes, thanks Brue. It hasn’t changed for me though, IPad and Safari.

Your old picture was showing when I first looked at your post and even using refresh did not change it. I then cleared my cache and did a refresh and can now see your new picture. BTW this is on a Windows 10 desktop.

Thank you DK👍 My new chosen photo came up straight away on my profile page, but it didn’t show when I came back onto the forum. I had to completely clear my browsing history to get it to change, and I am guessing it will only change for others if they do the same. But at least it gives a choice😁, stick with the hound and his chariot, or update to Thor in Scarborough. That’s all done with an iPad and Safari, so things have improved, in past times I could only do it via our Mac Book.
Lots of buffering on here today though

I think I saw your new picture yesterday evening, without changing anything in my set up, so very strange that it has taken time to change on your forum page, tda.
