I've just read that John Motson, legendary football commentator has passed away at the age of 77 years.

    Indeed, Jill  ~~ apart from standing in a snowstorm in a beautiful sheepskin coat, Motty had a nice gentle sense of humour  and a great turn of phrase.  Much superior to today's millionaires babbling away.
