Interesting. We haven’t been to Portmeirion, mainly because we always have dogs with us. But that sounds quite a good deal actually, given that £34 of the £50 would be for entrance. Could a dog be left inside a MH WTG, whilst owners went for a look around the village? Our old lad would be walked elsewhere, and would then happily snooze for hours while we had a look around. I enjoy looking around places when the day trippers have gone home, did this on St Mary’s (Scillies) and it’s a totally different experience.

    Thanks for sharing.👍

we fell foul of their 'no dogs' a good few years back when we visited Portmeirion  .... Molly had to stay in the car, fortunately it wasn't especially warm

    Be seein' ya!

TDA it's worth looking at the Portmeriion Web site regarding dogs as they are quite strict about dogs, they're not allowed in the grounds either. The car parking is free so it's not too expensive with concessions for a day visit. So you might manage it in cooler weather.

We've been without our dogs and had a nice stay at the hotel. We went in the autumn when the crowds had gone!

Thanks for the extra info😁 Sounds like the MH park is also “no Dogs” which I thought might be the case. We would need an early morning and late evening stroll if we stayed, so it doesn’t sound practical for us, but thanks anyway. We respect what is in place, wouldn’t push the boundaries in any way. At some point, we shall get a look👍😁
