Towing with a PHEV

HI All.

My current diesel VW Tiguan is now getting a bit long in the tooth and I am looking to PX it for a new Tiguan PHEV, specifically the Tiguan Elegance 1.4 TSI eHybrid 245PS 6-Speed DSG 5 Door - Petrol.

Does anyone have an experience with this model (or similar) or indeed with towing with a 1.4 hybrid petrol in general? My van is the Alicanto Sintra with MRO of 1441Kg and MTPLM of 1596Kg. Any advice will be gratefully received.

    Have a look at the new Towcar of the year awards (2023). They have a couple of PHEVs.
