Due to poor health and a large number of operations, my wife and I had to give up caravanning around six years ago. It became physically demanding and unfortunately we could see no other option.

We recently decided to go down the route of a Transit Van conversion and try once more to return back the fields and travel again.

Our first trip was to a CL site, Stone House Farm, on the outskirts of Bishop’s Stortford. It was only for a three night stay and how fortunate we were to find this gem of a site run by David and Cherry.

What struck us over this short stay, was how much we had missed being a club members and enjoying the outdoor life with like-minded people.

It´s early days yet, but we really hope that we can continue to utilise the services offered by the club and take full advantage of the benefits offered.

Look forward to meeting old friends and new over future trips away ~ Paul & Bev………and our faithful Bedlington, Willow x
